It all began in 1999, when a young and passionate Obadiah picked up a camera at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. What started as a personal curiosity quickly grew into a calling. With an eye for light and a gift for connecting with people, Obadiah built a reputation that spread far beyond the university walls.
As the business flourished, Obadiah brought his younger brother into the fold, and together they expanded the vision of what Obed Photography could become. When the world began transitioning from film and darkrooms into the age of digital photography, Obed Photography was at the forefront. They became the first digital photography studio in Oyo State, embracing the new technology while many still clung to the old ways of film and laboratories.
